College basketball is finally here! I pretty excited about this basketball for several reasons but probably the most because of the games I will hopefully get to see. I've got a couple of different trips planned to see some different teams and new arenas. Plus there are always last minute adds, like the Baylor game yesterday.
The NBA released it's schedule this past week of all 1,230 games. Here are a few games I'm looking forward to the most. This past season I was more focused on college basketball but with the widespread player movement this summer the upcoming season should be very interesting. My only disappointment is that Kevin Durant loses another season to injury so we will have to wait until 20-21 to see him take over the hardwood in Brooklyn.
Preview for the Full Court Friday email tomorrow. Lots of good videos!
Summer is underway and I wanted to share a few of my favorite books that are great to read while traveling or enjoying on the back porch in the evening. They come from a variety of eras and different areas of basketball. I hope you pick one, or all, and enjoy as much as I did!
12,425 miles. 23 games. 8 gyms. 5 states. 3 NBA games. 1 NIT game. 1 Final Four.
It was quite the basketball season for myself and looking back only makes me more excited for next year. While the NBA is still playing my hoops travel ended after my dad and I returned from the Final Four in early April.
Here are a few of the highlights from this last season:
Check out Rene Caselly on Instagram. I picked out some of the best dunks he had with his elephants.
Once March Madness ends the summer becomes a long wait for October and the start of college basketball. There is the NBA playoffs but that can be long. So, starting this Friday I'm going to begin sending out a weekly email filled with 5 unique basketball related posts/videos/photos that I think everyone would enjoy.
