 I attended my first college basketball game of the 2020-21 season on December 6th, to see Texas vs. Villanova. Outside of the game itself, it was quite the experience. The basics requirements were of mask wearing and social distancing were in place at the Erwin Center. My photo was taken 16 minutes before tip off and not many of those seats filled in once the game started.
I recently purchased a few books to read and of the six books, five were basketball related. So this week I thought I would share a few of my favorite books. Maybe you are headed out on a family road trip for a few days or need something to read while enjoying your newly made-over backyard. This list isn't a full list of all basketball books but they are a few of my personal favorites.
While I was watching The Last Dance this week I couldn't help but to think about the Michael Jordan collection I have and how it started me on a path to creating a small hoops "museum". At least in my dreams it's the beginning of a hoops museum. Enjoy!

Well this basketball season can best be summed up by the popular opening of A Tale of Two Cities- "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...". Early on the season it seemed like this was going to be one of my most adventurous seasons yet, and through March it held up. Then March was abruptly shutdown. As of today the NBA is holding out hope that some sort of finish to the season will happen but I'm doubtful. Here's some of the highlights from a fun season that ended with a bang. |
