Here are the conference standings for the second to last week of the college basketball season. There are couple of close races going into the last week and a half: Big 12- Kansas and Texas Tech play on Saturday with the winner having a major advantage during the last week of the season. After the game against each other Kansas has a slightly easier schedule but the margin for error is always slim in the Big 12. Big East- Villanova and Xavier are tied before tonight's games. Villanova has 4 games left including tonight and Xavier 3. Villanova won both regular season matchup with Xavier. Big Ten- The race for the top is within 1 game but MSU/OSU have 1 game remains and Purdue has 2. The best outcome for OSU and Purdue would be if MSU loses and there is a 3 way tie for first.
