These are the last conference standings of the season. The Big Ten is final and their conference tournament starts today at Madison Square Garden. Still a few close races out there with 1 or 2 games left in the regular season, it's tied up in the SEC.

In Part 3 of the Road to Selection Sunday series, it's a quick look at how RPI, BPI, and Strength of Record are calculated. These 3 metrics are a large part of what goes into seeding on Selection Sunday. RPI has been used since 1981 while BPI and SoR were introduced by ESPN in 2011.

This is part 2 of the Road to Selection Sunday series. There's a lot of consideration that goes into choosing the team to participate in March Madness. This will help give you an idea of the 3 areas of metrics the committee will use to determine if a team will make it to the tournament. The newest parts of the team resume is the quadrant system and BPI/Ken Pom/Sagaring rankings. Next week I will look a little more in depth at what makes up these rankings.
As the season end gets closer here are the individual stat leaders in the nation. Trae Young continues to lead in both PPG and APG. Today there are some great college basketball games going on including Xavier/Villanova at 3:30 and West Virginia/Kansas at 5:00.
